There are many accelerator programmes out there, why should I apply to Tribe Accelerator?

First things first, our programme is completely free. And, we take 0% equity.
We run a structured, product development focused programme, providing you with top tier tech resources from our mentors and technical partners. Given our neutrality and strong resources, we are poised to provide you the best support through our program.


Will Tribe Accelerator mandate that we have to build on a certain protocol?

No, we are protocol agnostic and recognise that startups have different needs (public/permissioned) and we aim to help you achieve what works best for your company. We do have a suite of technical partners who can provide dedicated tech support should you built on that procotol.


What if my startup has not minimally received Series A funding? Could I still apply?

My startup is not based in Singapore. Could I still apply?

Of course! We are accepting startups globally. You would just have to make sure that you and your team can legally be in Singapore for the duration of the programme (April to August 2019).


How can I register for Tribe Accelerator?

Register your startup here. Shortlisted startups will be contacted by March 2019.


When will I hear back regarding my application?

We will notify the shortlisted applicants via email by March 2019.


Will accommodation and an office space be provided in Singapore during the programme?

No, Tribe Accelerator will not cover accommodation and provision of office spaces. You may consider co-working spaces in Singapore to work from during the duration of the programme (April to August 2019). Please reach out to us, and we will connect you to our network of co-working space options.


How do you select the startups that are accepted into the accelerator programme?

The Accelerator team is made up of corporate partners and investors, and they will select the startups based on how strategically aligned they are to the 4 Key Focus Areas (Fintech & Insurtech, Mobility & Supply Chain, Data & Telecommunications, Energy & Sustainability), and the strength of their blockchain use-case.


What information is required for the application?

The information required is listed in the registration form on Tribe Accelerator’s website. Tell us about your company and upload a pitch deck with your value proposition and blockchain use-case (if you have one). Please write to us at hello@tribeaccelerator.co if you have any questions regarding the application form.


Is there a possibility to meet the Accelerator team?

We will meet with only the shortlisted startups.


Does Tribe Accelerator guarantee a pilot with any of the corporate partners after the programme?

During the programme, participating startups will have the opportunity to develop a Proof-of-Concept to solve a business issue. It is entirely at our partners’ discretion as to whether or not enter into any commercial arrangement with a participating company after the programme.
